The Plainview News may just be the hottest diner around, serving up news any way readers want it thanks to its new website, mobile site and E-Edition.
Publisher Brook Curtiss had been thinking about a new website for a while. He was looking for something unlike traditional newspaper websites but still offered a taste of the local news in a social media format that also spotlighted the full electronic edition of the newspaper.
After several designs, Curtiss found what he was looking for and proceed with Pitzer Digital to create the new www.ThePlainviewNews.com. It features Facebook and YouTube feeds on the homepage for those who want the latest reports and videos on Plainview without having to visit multiple sites or have accounts with those sites. It also showcases its stories in a photo galley format that's unique to The Plainview News.
The site is made with the E-Edition subscriber in mind with access to the full newspaper on readers' computers, tablets or smartphones for just $20 a year. Try to find a better deal than that anywhere! And try it for free right now - click here.
There's still work to do for The Plainview News as photo galleries are added later this week, but the site is officially up and running. And the focus is on the newspaper, which clearly is continuing to grow and be successful in Plainview, Neb.
Congratulations to Brook Curtiss and his entire staff!
